Welcome to the writing blog of Desi Ana Sartini. On this site you will find my creative writing as well as what I am labeling here as “Interactive Bible Studies,” by which I mean materials designed to carry people into an experience of deep interaction with God’s Word in community. These are not traditional Bible studies, but typically include sensory elements and interactive activities.
Who is Desi Ana Sartini?
I am a lifelong student of the Bible, language, and culture.
I delight in trees, stars, mountains, and rivers.
I am fascinated by the biblical concept of humanity as the union of the breath of God and the dust of the ground. Could there be any origin more glorious and more humbling? Oh, that we may live up to the glory of the breath we have been given, and at the same time never forget that apart from the One who breathed it we are but dust.
